These handmade needles are the result of a rainy February afternoon spent with my daughter, Hannah.
We came up with the idea for a friend's knitting class. We hand sculpt each design on the tops of bamboo or birch needles, bakethem, polyurethane them, laugh at them (I mean with them), tag them, and ship them out. They are 11 inches tall and
come in sizes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.5 bamboo, 11, 13, and 15 and 17 birch.

Constance Knit Wit
Stylishly cloaked and coiffed, Constance is a connoisseur of the fine fiber (and a fan of alliteration). Whether casting on a new angora or slipping through some silk, she will work your yarn over with elegant ease.
From Arranging silk flowers to Zodiac readings, leaving a trail of embroidery thread, dried clay, jute, charcoal pencils, sketchbooks, pins, and needles (ouch!), stained glass (ouch, ouch), ie unfinished projects in her creative wake - Veronica was considered by some to be a bit flighty in her impassioned pursuits... until she fell for fiber.
Lucille Knit Wit
Highly powered on a daily fiber, faster than a speeding Turbo, more powerful than a new pattern and a three day weekend, Lucille can knit, drive, and hand out happy meals. She can pay the bills, clean up spills, (head for the hills!) and still... laugh.

Beatrice Knit Wit
Beatrice hails from a long line of knitters, before the days of bulk and fluff, when money and gauge were tight. With eyes shut, swift steel cicked seven+ stitches to he inch, yielding socks for soldier and sweaters for sweethearts. An artist of argyle, teacher of many, Bea has seen it all come and go, row after row.

Hort T Culture Knit Wit
Ponderer, poet, philosopher, Hort does his best ruminating while cultivating. When the mosquitoes or frosts are biting and the great room: ie. the yard is gone... Hort sits and knits and thinks and counts and squints a bit.
