Fun and easy footwear

For this simple pattern, written in three sizes (see below), you will

need the following items:

YARN: ANY sturdy, yet comfortable, yarn that WILL YIELD:

5 stitches and 8 rows to the inch. If your yarn doesn’t result in this

gauge, the shoe won’t fit,and if the shoe doesn’t fit, you don’t get

the prince. I used combinations of age old fibers such as double

stranded raw silk / linen, and cotton / linen which fall into the DK

or Worsted weight group when combined.

—–Fixation by Cascade double skeined on size 8 works well.—–

NEEDLES: US Size #5 or whatever size gets the gauge above

YARN NEEDED: #1 #2 #3

SOLES 36 yds. 38 yds. 40 yds.

TOE STRAPS 24 yds. 26 yds. 28 yds.

ANKLE STRAPS 10 yds. 12 yds. 12 yds.

*SEWING YARN 14 yds. 14 yds. 14 yds.

TOTAL YARN 84 yds. 90 yds. 94 yds.
