Needles: size 10.5/ 16” circular
Yarn: FELTABLE FIBER: 125 yards *feltable fiber, (44 yds. for two soles, 28 yds. for two sides and 50 yds. for two tongues and heel backs) *Any animal fiber such as wool, alpaca, mohair, etc. which has not been treated or superwashed will work. DK and Sport will make smaller booties, different fibers and yarn weights yield surprising results.
Gauge: 3.5 st. and 5 rows will measure 1 prefelted inch;
4.5 st. and 7 rows will result in 1 postfelted inch.
Finished Size: Size #1 - 4.5 inches by 3 inches. They fit babies ranging from 3 months to 9 months. Give them early! Size #2 - 5 inches by 3.5 inches, fits 9 to 18 months.
